1. The Beta Programme
The GrowIQ Beta Programme ("Programme") is operated by SEVRA Group Limited trading as GrowIQ UK ("we", "us", "GrowIQ"). By applying and accepting a place on the Programme, you agree to these terms in full.
2. What you receive
- 3 months of GrowIQ Grower plan access at no charge, starting from the date your account is activated.
- 50% discount on your first 6 paid months if you continue after the beta period ends, subject to completing the Programme requirements.
- Access to features that may be incomplete, experimental or subject to change without notice.
3. Your obligations as a beta tester
In exchange for free access, you agree to:
- Use the app actively and regularly — we expect at least weekly use during the Programme period.
- Submit bug reports promptly when you encounter errors, unexpected behaviour or broken features, using the in-app Bug button.
- Submit feature suggestions and feedback using the in-app Idea button or the 4-weekly survey.
- Complete each 4-weekly check-in survey within 7 days of receiving it.
- Respond to follow-up questions from the GrowIQ team when asked.
- Not share login credentials or access the app on behalf of others.
4. Account removal & termination
We reserve the right to remove a beta account at any time, without notice, if:
- The account shows no meaningful activity for 14 or more consecutive days.
- No bug reports or feedback have been submitted within any 4-week period.
- A check-in survey is not completed within 14 days of being sent.
- The account is used in a manner that is abusive, harmful, illegal or contrary to the spirit of the Programme.
- We determine in our sole discretion that the tester is not actively participating in testing.
On removal, all access to the beta account will cease immediately. No compensation, refund or discount will be owed where removal is due to breach of these terms.
5. Data & privacy
Data you enter during the beta is stored securely and handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. As this is a beta environment, we cannot guarantee the permanent retention of any data entered during the Programme period. We recommend not relying on GrowIQ as your only record of important growing information during beta.
6. Availability & service levels
GrowIQ beta is provided as-is, without any uptime guarantees. Features may be added, changed or removed without notice. The service may be interrupted for maintenance, updates or technical reasons at any time.
7. Intellectual property & feedback
Any feedback, suggestions or ideas you submit to us may be used by GrowIQ to improve the app. You assign to us a perpetual, royalty-free licence to use such feedback without obligation to you.
8. Confidentiality
Some features you access during the beta may not yet be publicly announced. You agree not to share screenshots, recordings or descriptions of unreleased features publicly without our prior written consent.
9. Selection
Submitting an application does not guarantee a place. We will select testers to achieve a representative sample across different devices, operating systems, growing experience levels and plant types. We aim to notify all applicants within 14 days of their application.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
