1. About GrowIQ

GrowIQ is a greenhouse and garden management application provided by GrowIQ UK, a trading name of SEVRA Group Limited, registered in England and Wales (Company No. 16573490) (Company No. 16573490). Registered office: Unit 6, Springfield House, Evercreech Way, Highbridge, Somerset, TA9 4AR.

By creating an account or using GrowIQ you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. The service

GrowIQ provides plant tracking, AI-powered growing advice, health monitoring, and related tools for greenhouse and garden management. We reserve the right to modify, update or discontinue features at any time, with reasonable notice where practical.

The AI features are powered by Anthropic's Claude. GrowIQ's advice is for guidance only and does not replace professional horticultural advice.

3. Your account

You must be 18 or over to create an account
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
You must provide accurate information when signing up
You may not share your account with others or create accounts on behalf of others without permission

4. Subscriptions and payment

GrowIQ offers a free tier and paid subscription plans. Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually as chosen at signup.

Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your card details
Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date
You may cancel at any time. Access continues until the end of the current billing period
We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods, except where required by law
We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice to existing subscribers

UK consumers have statutory rights including a 14-day cooling-off period for digital services. If you cancel within 14 days of your first paid subscription and have not used the paid features, you are entitled to a full refund.

5. Free tier limitations

The free tier allows up to 5 plants and manual tracking features. AI-powered features including growing advice, photo analysis, weather integration and pest diagnosis require a paid subscription. We reserve the right to adjust free tier limits with reasonable notice.

6. Your content

You retain ownership of all data you enter into GrowIQ including plant information, photos, notes and records. By using the service you grant us a limited licence to store and process this data solely to provide the service to you.

You are responsible for ensuring any photos you upload do not infringe third party rights. Do not upload images that are offensive, illegal, or belong to someone else without permission.

7. AI-generated advice

GrowIQ uses artificial intelligence to provide growing advice, health assessments and diagnoses. This advice is:

Based on general knowledge and the information you provide
Not guaranteed to be accurate, complete or suitable for your specific circumstances

We are not liable for any loss or damage resulting from following AI-generated advice in the app.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Use GrowIQ for any unlawful purpose
Attempt to access other users' data
Reverse engineer, copy or redistribute the GrowIQ application
Use automated tools to access the service in a way that places unreasonable load on our systems
Upload malicious content or attempt to compromise the security of the service

9. Availability

We aim to keep GrowIQ available at all times but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. We may carry out maintenance, updates or experience technical issues. We will endeavour to minimise disruption and communicate planned downtime in advance.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, GrowIQ UK, a trading name of SEVRA Group Limited shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the service, including crop loss, financial loss, or loss of data.

Our total liability to you in any 12-month period shall not exceed the amount you have paid to us in that period.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms, with notice where reasonably practicable. You may delete your account at any time from within the app. On termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
