These terms govern your use of GrowIQ, a product of SEVRA Group Limited (Co. No. 16573490), trading as GrowIQ UK ("GrowIQ", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using GrowIQ you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
You must be at least 13 to use GrowIQ, and under 18s should use it with a parent or guardian. To receive Ambassador Programme commission payments you must be at least 18, since this involves a real payment to a bank account or equivalent. Keep your login details secure — you're responsible for activity on your account. Tell us promptly of any unauthorised use.
GrowIQ offers a free tier and paid plans (Grower and Pro), billed monthly or annually via Stripe. Prices are shown in the app before you buy. Paid plans, and any free trial, renew automatically at the end of each period until cancelled. Where a free trial applies, you won't be charged until it ends, and we'll make the trial length and price clear at checkout.
You can cancel any time from the subscription screen or billing portal; cancellation stops the next renewal and you keep access until the end of the paid period already paid for.
Your right to cancel (UK consumers). Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you normally have 14 days to cancel a new digital-content or digital-service contract for a full refund. Because GrowIQ gives you immediate access to paid features as soon as you subscribe, by subscribing you expressly ask us to begin supplying the service straight away and acknowledge that you lose this 14-day cancellation right once we do — but you can still cancel the ongoing subscription at any time as above, and any part-used period is not refunded except where required by law or where we've made an error. This does not affect any other statutory right you have as a consumer.
GrowIQ may offer rewards (such as free upgrade time) for reaching genuine growing milestones, or for referring a friend who genuinely starts using GrowIQ. Rewards have no cash value, are personal to you, and may not be sold or transferred. We may verify milestones and referrals against real data and withhold or reverse rewards obtained through inaccurate, fraudulent or manipulated data, including self-referral or referring accounts you control.
GrowIQ operates an optional Ambassador Programme offering free-tier access, commission and other rewards to people who actively promote GrowIQ. Joining requires you to separately read and accept the in-app Ambassador Programme terms, which form part of your agreement with us once accepted and sit alongside — not instead of — these Terms. Those terms cover the specific tier structure, the commission schedule, and the trade-off that opting in replaces your casual per-referral reward with the Programme's rewards for your own future referrals (your referred friends are unaffected).
Participation is at our discretion. We may decline an application, decline to advance someone to a higher tier, or step a tier back down after a sustained period of inactivity, as described in the in-app terms — we will never do this to claw back access you have already been granted purely because you asked a question or disagreed with us, but we may act on breach of the conduct standards below or on suspected fraud. The Great Oak tier is discretionary, invite-only and, once granted, not revoked for inactivity.
Conduct. As an Ambassador you agree to represent the GrowIQ brand accurately (using our correct name and not misrepresenting what the app does), and not to make derogatory, defamatory or misleading comments about GrowIQ, competitors or any person while identifying yourself as, or otherwise appearing to act as, a GrowIQ Ambassador. Breach of this may result in removal from the Programme and forfeiture of any then-unpaid commission balance.
Commission is not employment. Ambassador commission is a discretionary marketing reward, not a wage, salary or fee for services under a contract of employment or a contract for services, and participation does not make you an employee, worker, agent or partner of SEVRA Group Limited. You are solely responsible for declaring and paying any tax (including but not limited to Income Tax and, where applicable, National Insurance) due on commission or rewards you receive; we do not withhold tax on your behalf. Commission is paid manually, at our discretion as to timing, once a running balance genuinely owed is confirmed; we do not guarantee any particular payment schedule, and rates, thresholds and tiers may change with reasonable notice for the future (accrued, unpaid balances at the time of a change are not reduced).
We may end the Ambassador Programme, or your participation in it, at any time. Ending the Programme does not by itself remove free-tier access already granted, but we may separately review and adjust access where it was obtained through inaccurate or fraudulent activity.
You agree not to misuse GrowIQ — including attempting to bypass usage limits or security, submitting false data to obtain rewards, reverse-engineering or copying the app, uploading unlawful or harmful content, or using the service to harm others. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms.
You keep ownership of the content you add (plants, photos, notes and so on). You grant us a licence to store, process and display it for the purpose of providing the service to you (including sending relevant content to our AI provider to generate responses).
GrowIQ includes an optional community feed where you may choose to share posts, comments and photos visible to other users. Anything you post there is also governed by our community guidelines shown in the app. You grant us a licence to store, display and moderate that content within GrowIQ for as long as it remains posted. Do not post anything unlawful, harassing, hateful, sexually explicit, or that infringes someone else's rights or privacy — including images of children other than your own, without appropriate care. We use a mix of automated and human moderation, may remove content or suspend community access at our discretion, and are not responsible for content posted by other users, though you can report it to us. You are responsible for your content and confirm you have the right to upload it.
The GrowIQ application, website, software, design, text, graphics and branding are owned by SEVRA Group Limited or its licensors and are protected by copyright, database rights and other intellectual property laws. "GrowIQ", "FarmIQ", "GrowSense", "Tend", "GrowIQ Nursery", the GrowIQ logo and the FarmIQ logo are trademarks of SEVRA Group Limited. Other product, company and brand names mentioned in GrowIQ are the trademarks of their respective owners and are used for identification only; their use does not imply any affiliation with or endorsement by them.
You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, publish, scrape, reverse-engineer or create derivative works from any part of GrowIQ, or use our name, logo or trademarks, without our prior written permission. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use GrowIQ for its intended purpose, subject to these terms.
FarmIQ (Field, Livestock and Worker), GrowIQ Nursery and Farm Shop are intended for business use. If you use them, you confirm you are doing so in the course of a business and that you have authority to bind that business. Some consumer rights that apply to individuals will not apply to a business account.
These features are in early access. They are under active development, may change, and pricing for them is not yet finalised. We'll tell you what it is before we ever charge you for them, and you'll be free to walk away.
If you use GrowIQ to record information about your staff, workers or team members, you are the data controller of that information and we are your processor. Our Data Processing Agreement governs that relationship, forms part of these terms, and applies automatically — you do not need to sign anything separately.
If you use GrowIQ to manage staff, workers or team members, you are their employer or engager — we are not. You are solely responsible for employment matters, including pay, working time, right-to-work checks, and for telling your people what you record about them and why. GrowIQ's clock-in and task records are a convenience tool; they are not a legal system of record for employment purposes, and we don't guarantee their accuracy or completeness for that use.
If you sell through GrowIQ Nursery or Farm Shop, you remain responsible for your own obligations to your customers and to HMRC — including pricing, VAT, receipts, refunds, consumer rights, age-restricted goods, and the accuracy of your own records. We provide the till; the shop is yours.
GrowIQ can help you record spray and input applications, safe-harvest intervals, livestock movements, births and deaths, medicine and produce, and can generate reports from them. These are record-keeping and planning tools, not compliance advice, and not a substitute for the official rules.
In particular: dates GrowIQ calculates or suggests — including safe-harvest dates derived from a pre-harvest interval you enter — are generated from the information you provide and may be wrong if that information is wrong, out of date, or entered incorrectly. Product labels, statutory guidance and the requirements of your assurance scheme, your vet and the relevant authorities always take precedence over anything GrowIQ shows you.
You remain solely responsible for complying with all applicable law and scheme requirements, for the accuracy of your records, for checking product labels and withdrawal periods before use or sale, and for reporting to the relevant authorities within the required timescales. You must independently verify anything on which safety, food safety, animal welfare or legal compliance depends. Do not rely on GrowIQ, or on any AI output within it, as your only check.
GrowIQ relies on third-party services to work, including Stripe (payments), Supabase (hosting and data storage), Anthropic (AI features), Resend (email), and, where you choose to connect them, Meta/Facebook, Home Assistant and similar integrations. Your use of those integrations may also be subject to that provider's own terms. We are not responsible for outages, errors or changes made by third-party providers that are outside our control, though we'll do what we reasonably can to keep the service running and to tell you about significant disruption.
We work hard to keep GrowIQ available and improving, but we provide it "as is" and "as available". We may change, suspend or withdraw features, and we may update these terms — we'll post the new date and, for significant changes, notify you.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, GrowIQ is provided without warranties of any kind, and we are not liable for loss of crops, plants, harvests, livestock, produce, profits, business, goodwill or data, or for any indirect or consequential loss, arising from your use of the service or reliance on its content or AI outputs. Without limiting that, and to the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any regulatory penalty, failed inspection or audit, loss of assurance-scheme status, product recall, condemned or rejected produce, or animal health or welfare consequence arising from your reliance on GrowIQ's records, calculated dates, reports or AI outputs — see section 7b. Except for liability that cannot lawfully be limited (see below), our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these terms or GrowIQ, however arising, is limited to the greater of £100 or the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited — including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.
If you use GrowIQ as a business (including FarmIQ, Nursery or Farm Shop features), you agree to indemnify and hold us harmless against any claim, loss, liability or cost (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these terms, your misuse of the service, your content, or your failure to comply with applicable law in running your business — except to the extent caused by our own breach of these terms or negligence. This indemnity does not apply to you if you are using GrowIQ as a private consumer.
You can stop using GrowIQ and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you materially breach these terms. On termination, the licences you grant and receive end, save for provisions that by their nature survive.
We are not liable for any delay or failure to perform caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including internet or power outages, failures of third-party providers (see section 7c), industrial action, or other events of a similar kind.
You may not assign or transfer your account or these terms to anyone else without our written consent. We may assign or transfer these terms — for example, as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of some or all of our business — and will tell you if we do. A person who is not party to these terms has no right under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 to enforce any part of them. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest continues to apply. These terms, together with our Privacy Policy, the Data Processing Agreement (where it applies), and the in-app Ambassador Programme terms (where you've accepted them), are the entire agreement between us about your use of GrowIQ, and replace any earlier discussions or agreements on the same subject.
These terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales, and the courts of England & Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have in your place of residence. If something's gone wrong, please email us first (see below) so we can try to put it right directly — most things are quickest to sort out that way.
